Here are some general samples taken randomly from the internet. The original address is provided where available, in order that you may view the original version in it's "before" state.

We have noticed some retouching sites sneak in to "backward engineer" a retouching job, deliberately degrading a good picture in order to present a seemingly more impressive retouching job. We show a picture in it's original state and deliberately pull examples from random sites to show that we develop and retouch a picture to our standards.

Not every photographer has access to professional equipment or technique. Although we believe every photograph is worth a thousand words, there are good quality shots and then there are better quality shots. We try to present a wide range of photographs from different picture-taking conditions to illustrate how much change you can realistically expect.
